Dear American Artist Reader,
American Artist will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2012!
In celebration of that important milestone, we are rolling out a new design for the magazine. The logo was drawn by the calligrapher Irving Bogen, who described it as American as apple pie; we especially like his calligraphic and artistic touch—the swash of the S.
We took this logo and updated it for 2012. It is both a nod to our history and our readers who have stuck with this through the ages, and a look to the future. Wed loved to get your feedback on this new logo, as we are planning on using it for the next few years.
